Dinner

Hey Wild Folks!

The Filmmaker & Author Luncheons are returning! If you’ve been before, you already know why people love this unique and exclusive opportunity. This is the rare LWFF window where the festival slows down just enough to sit together, share a great catered meal, and hear the stories behind the stories, straight from the people who lived them, filmed them, and brought them to the screen. We’d like to thank Chattanooga Whiskey for coming on board to sponsor these events.

Saturday Lineup:

    • Roo Smith (Filmmaker – LWFF2025 Best Short Film Winner for Unseen Peaks, LWFF 2026- Beyond the Gates);
    • Calvin Serban & Zach LeClerc (Filmmakers Shut up Legs, We Skiing Bama!, LWFF2024 – Walls of Faith);
    • Greg Cairns (Director – LWFF2026 – Patso, LWFF2025 – Driving Sweep, LWFF2021 – Just a Climber for Bears Ears) ;
    • Quamae Hall (Director – LWFF2026 Beyond Beliefs – First Time Filmmaker)
    • and surprise guests.

Sunday Lineup:

    • Berne Broudy and Greg Durso (Producer and Adaptive Rider – LWFF2026 – Best Day Ever),
    • Alisha McDarris (Director – LWFF2026 – Adapt(ive));
    • Barbara Jenkins  (Best Selling Author – So Long as It’s Wild, LWFF 2026 – Miles Between Us Miles to Go)
    • and surprise guests.

The luncheons take place Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Roth Reading Room in the UTC Library just steps from the Fine Arts Center. Free parking is available on campus all weekend.

These are intentionally small events, and seats go fast. Get your tickets while they last.

Saturday Menu: Global Street Tacos
Mango chicken or roasted vegetable tacos with cilantro lime rice, tortilla chips, cumin black beans, and a sugar cookie.

Sunday Menu: East Asian Eats
Jasmine rice and lo mein noodles served with lemongrass chicken and Asian tofu, accompanied by egg rolls and crispy wontons.

Grab your ticket now and claim your seat at one of the most personal experiences of the weekend. These luncheons are limited by design, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Come hungry, bring your questions, and spend two hours with the filmmakers and authors who make LWFF what it is.
